The Spectacle Garden, with its carefully planned layout and vibrant floral displays, has become a popular attraction within Roma Street Parklands, so it was no surprise to Lee’s family that he chose to spend his wish wandering the paths of the gardens admiring the summer blooms. Accompanied by his wife Jane and daughter Karen, Lee in a vibrant shirt himself and known for his wicked sense of humour and love for poetry, took their time to appreciate the sweet scents of the flowers, where over the years, they as a family had made countless visits to.
Lee, with his penchant for poetry, couldn’t help but be inspired by the natural beauty of the place he had such fond memories of. To cap off the day, the family enjoyed lunch at the café, creating new memories and appreciating the beauty of the parklands.
Thank you to our wonderful wish team Mark, Tony and Gayle for fulfilling this last wish and Ange Costes Photographry for creating memories forever for their loved ones.
We would also like to thank our SEQ Hub Local Supporting partner GQS and Mingary Care for their sponsorship of Ambulance Wish Queensland’s South-East Queensland hub.
